Jahaan Sahgal

Jahaan is a 12th-grade student at the Doon School, Dehradun where he studies Economics, History, Psychology, English and Mathematics. Inspired by his personal experiences, Jahaan is passionate about spreading awareness about organ donation among young people in India and hopes to address the severe shortage of organ donors in India through such educational efforts. Bearing this in mind, he launched Or.D.E.R. in partnership with ORGAN India and with their help hopes to dispel myths about organ donation across India in a bid to encourage more people to become organ donors.

In his free time, Jahaan likes to spend time honing his photography skills and practicing his favourite sport – squash. He is also a part of the Yearbook Club at school and frequently participates in community outreach programs from his school.
